High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDRB)

High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDRB)

High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDRB) is a type of seismic isolator that exhibits higher hysteresis damping (above 16%) compared to the conventional Low Damping Rubber Bearing (LDRB) owing thanks to the advancement of rubber research. Physically, the HDRB is similar to LRB excepts the absence of lead core in HDRB. The energy dissipation comes solely from the rubber compound itself without any other supportive component within the bearing.
Example of HDRB types are contained in this catalog as a general reference. We are able to develop elastomeric compound with customized material and mechanical properties to suit to specific project requirements. Please contact us for technical details and more information about the product.
